Team Explanation Announce 6v6 & 1v1 Cups

Oh hai!

Team Explanation's new website will be launched very very soon and to celebrate we've hooked up with our lovely sponsor Jolt.co.uk to bring you sexy people 2 cups!

So what kind of cups are there?
A unique 6v6 cup & a cash-prize 1v1 cup!

What map will the 1v1 cup be played on?
1v1 tourney will be played on the map which is proven as most popular between lna/ctf_multidemo/valhalla.

I will create another post with a poll in it closer to comp time & whichever the community chooses as most popular map, will be the one we use.

So what makes your 6v6 cup "unique"?
To keep things fresh & different, we've decided to make the cup with the usual EU 6v6 ruleset but with 2 added twists...

WE ARE ENABLING BUMBLEBEES!!11!!!1ONE!!

And there is NO map that is disallowed from this cup. You wanna play Slipgate? Your wish is my command!

OMFG what the HELL are you thinking?
We're thinking we want everybody to join in on the fun & pwnage! But yet we want everyone to experience EU 6v6 ruleset so we introduced the "No maps are out" policy. If you don't like that, then just pick a map you want to play as your "home" map.

So what are the prizes?
The 6v6 cup prizes are as follows:

• 1st place: 16 Slots unranked server for 3 months.
  
• 2nd place: 16 Slots unranked server for 1 month.
  
• 3rd place: Teamspeak server for 1 month.
  

If it so happens that we have enough teams that sign up, we will create 2 divisions depending on clan skillwise. These prizes will apply to both divisions.

The 1v1 cup prizes are as follows:

• 1st place: Cash prize £100
  
• 2nd place: Cash prize £50
  
• 3rd place: Cash prize £25
  

So where can we sign up?
When our new site is launched we will have a submission form on there. It should be nice & simple for all you but if there's any issues with it, contact myself or one of the other admins of the cups.

Anything else I should know?
To be involved in the 1v1 cup you must have a PayPal account in order to receive your cash prize (if you win) and be over the age of 16.

Atleast 1 of your clan members must idle on IRC in the following channels:

• #team-explanation
  
• #e-Comp.jolt
